The focus of our centre uses a discovery approach to learning, which stresses hands-on and child-directed materials and builds on the natural inventiveness and curiosity of children at this age. Structured routines, mirroring those of a school setting, learning centres, and small-group activities are coordinated daily, with carefully planned periods of free play and outside time. A Montessori centre is set up every week. Music, arts and crafts, and individual learning time are all integral parts of the children’s daily schedule.
